Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with us at Excel Solutions. We’re sorry to hear your purchase didn’t work out. The Returns & Refund Policy outlined herein is governed by our Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale. Please carefully read the information below.

Item Return

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase date. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and return shipping is paid by Buyer. Returns require a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number and must be arranged in writing. To be eligible for return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that it was received with the original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Special order, made-to-order, and fabricated products are not eligible for cancellation or return. Products not eligible for return are denoted as "special order", "custom order", "custom", "made-to-order", or "fabricated". Any electronic (or electrical components) item or any item which may indicate an attempt at installation is not eligible for return. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will be rejected.

When shipping your returned item to us, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that your item will be received. With a permanent marker, please write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping packaging. Once your item is received, it will be inspected to verify all of the return requirements are met. If accepted for return, your refund will be applied to your original payment method and you will receive a confirmation email. If paid by credit card, please allow 5-7 business days for your refund to appear on your account.

Order Cancellation

All refunds are governed by our Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale. An order cancellation must be submitted in writing prior to shipment of the order to avoid any applicable restocking fees. Special order, made-to-order, and fabricated products are not eligible for cancellation or return. This includes products denoted as "special order", "custom order", "custom", "made-to-order", or "fabricated". An order submitted to Seller with shipping terms beyond Seller's Standard Ground shipping, LTL Freight, or Truckload Freight is not eligible for cancellation.

Damaged Item

Any item that arrives damaged must be noted upon arrival on the Bill of Lading, with the shipper, or rejected to be eligible for return or replacement. Subject to inspection by Seller or Seller’s authorized representative, an item that is verified as damaged will be replaced without additional charges incurred to the purchaser for the replacement item only.


All products that are sold by Excel Solutions, excluding electrical products or related components, include a standard 1 year limited warranty on manufacture defect and is governed by the following provisions:

  • The product is not damaged or misused.
  • The product has not been altered from the condition in which it was delivered.
  • The product was sold by Excel Solutions.
  • You must obtain a returned material authorization (RMA) prior to return the product to us. A copy of the RMA form must be included with the returned parts, and is valid for 1 (one) month from the date of issuance.
  • Credit will be issued following our inspection and agreement that the product was defective as it left our or our vendor's facility.
  • Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component(s). Excel Solutions does not pay any labor chargebacks or travel time charges.
